UNVEILING OF THE TERRASKILLS’ GES MAIDEN EDITION 2022
Terraskills’ Graduate Employability Skills (GES) Maiden edition received over 370 applications of which top 20 applicants were shortlisted for the first batch of the training which has been sponsored by some philanthropists and corporate organizations (Medialand Nigeria Ltd, PolicyTV among others).
Following the successful completion of the Inception Workshop for the GES Maiden Edition 2022, we are glad to announce that the Official Unveiling Ceremony for the GES Maiden Edition 2022 is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 13th September 2022 by 9:00am at Terraskills Corporate Head Office at No. 14 Sunyani Street Wuse Zone 1, Abuja.
About GES
The Terraskills Graduate Employability Skills (GES) training ispoised to equip graduates with requisite 21st Century skills and emotional intelligence necessary and sufficient for 21st Century living, for self, business, community and the nation.” Terraskills has been positioned to enhance the employability of 10,000 Graduates across the 36 States in Nigeria, and FCT by 2025.
The Terraskills Graduate Employability Skills (GES) programme is a 2-month learning experience, where the participants undergo 1-month inhouse training during which they will be exposed to 12 engaging training and learning modules aimed at preparing them for the workplace; thereafter, they will proceed for 1-month Graduate Internship with a reputable organization to expose participants to real life work experience and allow them to showcase their skills, which will enhance their chances of becoming employed in the internship organisation or creating a beneficial network leading them to becoming gainfully employed and self-sustainable. The main slogan for Terraskills GES training is: Get Skilled, Go for Internship and Secure your Future.
Call for Sponsorship
We are using this opportunity to call for sponsorship for the second Batch (Batch 2) of the Terraskills Graduate Employability Skills (GES) Programme. It is an opportunity for well-meaning Nigerians, philanthropists, corporate organizations, Ministries, Department and Agencies of Government, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and International Development Partners to come on board and partner with Terraskills to help Nigerian youths and graduates to acquire relevant employability skills that will help them become employable and even become entrepreneurs in other to make our society and nation a happier and safer place for everyone.
