Escaping Redundancy: Tips to accomplish your aspirations
Escaping redundancy is a good way to achieve our aspirations. We all have aspiration no matter how big or small they seem. To achieve those aspiration we have to be really prepared.
Here are 6 tips to escaping redundancy and accomplishing your aspirations.
1. Set goals and measure your progress.
Setting goals that you can measure and measuring your progress will motivate you to stay on track, so make sure not to skip out on this. You can have a to-do list where you write everything you want to achieve on a piece of paper, software, etc. Ensure to tick every task you complete as that will motivate you to do better and even more. When you find yourself lacking focus, try to identify the reason and re-strategize.
2. Identify a role model
One of the major advantages of having someone as a role model is that they act as a constant source of inspiration. They motivate you to get work done and also show you why it’s important to always be inspired. They show you why hard work and the right headspace is a good road to take to become successful.
3. Get rid of distractions
Just how committed are you to your goal? How important is it for you, and what are you willing to sacrifice to achieve your goal? Meaningless things and distractions will always be in your way, especially those easy, usual things you would rather do instead of focusing on challenging and meaningful tasks. Learn to focus on what is the most important. Write a list of time-wasters and hold yourself accountable to not do them.
4. Make the journey fun.
It’s an awesome goal! The minute you make it too serious, there’s a big chance it will start carrying a heavy emotional weight and you will lose perspective and become stuck.
5. Stay positive and avoid stagnating thoughts.
You get positive energy when things go well. However, when you are experiencing difficulties, you need to be even more energetic. If you keep repeating, “this will most likely turn out bad”, guess which feelings and results those words will evoke? So, think and say positive things.
6. Don’t rely on others to do your works.
You should never expect others to do it for you, not even your partner, friend, or boss. They are all busy with their own needs. No one will make you happy or achieve your goals for you. It’s all on you.
