The focus is more on the story you want to develop than the genre, but if that story fits best in a certain visual medium, ensure to state it as part of your Submission Video.

The program seeks to uplift underrepresented creative communities for the chance to pitch original content to Studio executives and the opportunity to win a development deal.

• Submit a pitch for an original story in video format, with optional supplemental materials.
• Top four candidates will create a sizzle reel to pitch to Gemstone Studios.
• Gemstone Studios will select one proposal and its creator will have a chance to sign a development deal worth $30,000.

• Top four finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their concept to Gemstone Studios’ executives.
• One winner will have the opportunity to secure a development deal worth $30,000.
