MANAGING CREDIT, ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE AND DEBT RECOVERY
Debt management is the process of establishing and executing a strategy for managing an organizations’ or governments’ debt in order to raise the required amount of funding, achieve its risk and cost objectives and to meet any other debt management goals that a government Institutions or an organization may have set, such as developing and maintaining an efficient market for government securities. This course provides an overview of debt and credit management by explaining concepts in a user-friendly language, avoiding mathematics and using simple illustrations and country examples.
- Lecture, discussion, syndicate work, case study and exercises. Audio-visual aids will be used to reinforce these learning methods.
