How to Find your Way Up when Feeling Down or Tired
Have you ever reached that point where everything begins to make your tired? You get tired of everything, even your best food, show or events; sometimes you even get tired of trying. Like nothing interests you anymore. This feeling is very common and many people who feel this way try to hide it. I think it is the reason why many people give up on dreams.
Who is to blame them?
Sometimes life is tough. For young graduates looking for jobs, it is especially tiring if they have tried over and over without any success. They try their hands on so many other things, some becoming successful on the way while others try and fail over and over as a result of lack of guidance and mentorship. This and other factors may lead young minds to try suicide, probably the reason for the increasing rate of suicide; for, in our clime, counseling is viewed by some as a luxury and others as a pat on the feather.
What will be the fate of an unguided, fertile, roaming and hungry mind? These promising talents bow to peer pressure hence the rising spate of crime particularly cyber crime in the country. The brilliance of most is truncated by lack of finance to start their businesses; the majority of the cost of rendering services is usually a workspace.
Here are tips to help you convince yourself whenever you are getting tired
Assess yourself
Self-assessment is a basic requirement for a successful life; but a sine qua non in your low days or time. Assessing yourself helps you identify your weaknesses and strengths; not just that but helps you find a link between them. After a careful assessment of your strengths and weaknesses and determining your strong hold; the next step will be to act
Take action
You could change your life by acting on your assessment. Work on both your strengths and weaknesses. Get expert help from mentors and counselors. Make a yearly plan of your desires you will want to fulfill, then work daily to achieve your dreams.
Be consistent
Be consistent in your actions and not get weary of trying. As kids we were told that practice makes perfect. This is what consistency does. You become better and better each day you take action on your dreams. You bring them to life gradually each time you work on them.
“The key to success is consistency. And right now, the only way for you to actually take action is to believe in yourself.”
