Month 1- Foundations

In the first month, you will build essential skills to kickstart your journey in this dynamic field. You’ll begin by mastering Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and basic visualizations, crucial for handling and analyzing datasets effectively. Next, you’ll delve into SQL fundamentals, learning to retrieve, filter, and analyze data stored in relational databases, providing you with the foundational querying skills needed for data extraction and manipulation.

Following this, you will explore Microsoft Power BI, discovering how to connect diverse data sources and create insightful visualizations and interactive reports. Additionally, you’ll delve into Tableau, gaining proficiency in advanced data visualization techniques and principles that enable you to present data-driven insights effectively. This comprehensive foundation in data analytics tools and methodologies will prepare you to tackle real-world data challenges and lay the groundwork for more advanced topics in subsequent months.
Month 2- Guided Project

In the second month of our Data Analytics course, you will engage in hands-on guided projects designed to apply and deepen your understanding of foundational tools and techniques:

Guided Project 1 focuses on building a Dynamic Inventory Management System using Excel. This project aims to enhance your proficiency in Excel’s functions and features as you track inventory levels, orders, and sales dynamically. You’ll gain practical experience in data management and analysis, crucial for operational decision-making in business environments.

Guided Project 2 centers on creating a Sales Dashboard. You’ll utilize PivotTables and PivotCharts to develop an interactive dashboard that provides insights into sales performance. This project will sharpen your skills in data visualization and reporting, enabling you to present actionable insights effectively to stakeholders. These guided projects will reinforce your learning from Month 1 and prepare you for more complex analytics challenges ahead.
Month 3- Capstone Project

In the third and final month of our Data Analytics course, you will undertake a comprehensive capstone project aimed at showcasing your skills and knowledge acquired throughout the program:

The capstone project involves developing an Interactive Sales Performance Dashboard using Power BI and SQL. Your objective is to create a dynamic dashboard in Power BI that analyzes and visualizes key sales performance metrics. This project will integrate various skills, including cleaning and manipulating data in Power Query, managing databases in SQL, connecting SQL databases with Power BI, calculating measures using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and designing an interactive dashboard to present insights effectively.

By completing this capstone project, you will demonstrate proficiency in data cleaning, database management, data visualization, and dashboard creation—skills essential for data analysts and business intelligence professionals. This project will not only consolidate your learning but also prepare you to tackle real-world data analytics challenges with confidence and competence.
